This Turkish large Kars rug bears a remarkable display of light brown and earth tones with large medallion. A geometric medallion rests at the center field while the earthy background has four motifs in the corner. Scrolling geometric cornices gently hold the open field in place. The border displays alternating patterns of simple floral and geometric motifs.
